National Medical Admission Test (NMAT): Test Result

Generally, its results are announced in around 20 working days and an applicant can get admission according to college requirements. The grading system is percentile positioning from 1-to 99+ and marks are given ranging from 200 to 800. Essentially, the BS course is a degree course that is mandatory for admission in MD course according to American education design; In any case, in some Philippines colleges, if you did BS from a similar college and somehow didn’t get a minimum of 40 percentile marks in NMAT, college enables you to sit in MD, yet you will get MD degree only if you have got at least 40 percentile in NMAT.

  1. Will the percentage of NMAT effect in getting job as a doctor after completion of MBBS ??
Will it become necessary in future expect for getting admission?
    Please reply

    1. No, NMAT is just for qualifying and getting admission in MD Courses in Philippines. Your marks in MBBS/MD (during Course) and FMGE Score will influence your chance of getting job after completion.

    1. In terms of difficulty level NMAT falls under easy to moderate rank. The test is eventually time-based and skilled based requires confidence. If you have faith in yourself, then you may crack NMAT easily.
A percentile is a number where the top few students qualify based on the number of seats. The grading system of percentile positioning from 1-to 99+ and marks are given ranging from 200 to 800. Formula to calculate Percentile is No. of students got fewer marks than you divided by Total no. of students appeared in exam multiplied by 100.
