  1. The aspirant must be 17 years old at the time of admission.
  2. You are required to pass 10+2 from any board (ICSE, CBSE, or any equivalent state board).
  3. Passing Percentage for General Category i.e., 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (combined) and 60% in Biology (individually).
  4. NEET Qualified.
  5. Minimum qualifying percentile for General Category in NEET – 50th Percentile and for ST/SC/OBC – 40th Percentile.
  6. Qualify class 10 in 2018 or 2019.
  7. You must possess a 7 GPA as a minimum considering scores of classes 10 and 12.

Note: The students are considered inept for studying MBBS in Bangladesh if there is a gap. After the completion of +2 or the higher secondary, there should not be a year gap of passing classes 10, 11, and 12. Current and Previous Year students are eligible for taking admission.

What is SAARC Quota..?

How many seats are reserved for MBBS under the SAARC Quota of Bangladesh Government Scholarship Programme..?

International students are admitted to Government Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges in Bangladesh every year by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. What are the Eligibility Criteria of SAARC Quota for MBBS Admission in Bangladesh…?

  • Candidates with an aggregate GPA of less than 8 for Government Medical College and less than 7 GPA for Private Medical College will not be considered eligible for admission under the SAARC quota.
  • Students should have secured 95% in class 12, then only apply for the SAARC scholarship.

Note: Students taking admission under SAARC Quota are not required to pay their tuition fees; the only cost of living is required to be paid.

Admission Procedure – MBBS in Bangladesh

Some steps to be followed by the students to take admission in the Universities or Colleges of Bangladesh. The procedure of admission may vary from college to college. But overall, the steps will be the same. The steps are as follows:

Step 1: The very first step for taking admission in any college is to Fill the Application Form of the particular Universities or Colleges in which you are interested to take admission. Be careful while filling up the application form as it consists of personal details.

Step 2: Candidates have to submit all the Documents required for MBBS in Bangladesh.

Step 3: A few days later the University or College in which the candidate has applied, will give a Confirmation Letter or Letter of Acceptance to the candidate. It may happen your application be rejected due to certain reasons. And the reasons will be clarified by the college.
